Digital Therapeutics Alliance (DTA) is expanding efforts in Europe to shape regulatory landscapes and develop scalable market access pathways for digital therapeutic products and other digital health technologies.
By becoming a European member of DTA, you can learn about current best practices, engage with industry leaders, collaborate with fellow DTx companies, participate in member events, and help shape the DTx industry in Europe by contributing your expertise.
The Value of DTA’s European Membership
- Policy and Advocacy: Advocate for appropriate payment channels to expand patient access and HTA harmonization at the EU level through local partnerships so DTx manufacturers can scale up.
- Commercialization: Help drive DTx product development, adoption, and integration to transform healthcare (e.g., through a product launch playbook).
- Education: Prioritize the patient and clinician experience in the development and delivery of safe, effective, and equitable DTx products. This involves payor and clinician education, as well as patient engagement.
- Community Building and Engagement: Connect with like-minded industry leaders and stakeholders within the European digital health community. Foster collaborations, share insights, and participate in discussions that drive the industry forward.

Meet Emilie Lopes-Fernandes, DTA’s Head of European Policy!
Emilie, a digital health enthusiast, has been with DTA since its inception. With a French background, she’s always been intrigued by the development of digital health policies in Europe. In 2023, she contributed to the authorship of the DTx policy report, aimed at establishing enabling policies for digital medical devices in Europe to ensure equitable access to digital healthcare. Emilie is eager to lead strategic initiatives driving policy advancements in Europe’s rapidly evolving digital therapeutics landscape. She holds degrees in Biochemistry and Medicinal Chemistry from universities in France and the US, respectively.
